Fainsbert Mase Brown & Sussman, LLP Completes Acquisition Closing on 3.1 Million Sq. Ft. IBM Campus in Minnesota

ROCHESTER, Minn., Feb. 23, 2018 -- Fainsbert Mase Brown & Sussman, LLP (FMBS), a premiere Los Angeles law firm offering national services for real estate and business transactions, announced today the successful closing of the Industrial Realty Group, LLC (IRG) purchase of the 3.1 million sq. ft. IBM technology campus in Rochester, Minnesota.
Today IRG finalized its purchase of IBM’s 3.1 million sq. ft. campus in Rochester, MN. The 490-acre, 34-building site will continue to be home to IBM and other similar office and industrial tenants.
The site is comprised of approximately 490 acres and 34 existing buildings, including office, manufacturing, warehouse, data center and laboratory space. IRG's plan for the site envisions a dynamic, mixed-use, multi-tenant campus, which will bring businesses and job opportunities to Rochester. Affirming its continued commitment to the Rochester area, IBM signed a long-term lease agreement for eight campus buildings.

Marketa McGuire, a hydraulic civil engineer, has been named the Bureau of Reclamation's 2018 Engineer of the Year. McGuire was recognized as a top 10 finalist for Federal Engineer of the Year by a panel of judges established by the National Society of Professional Engineers. An awards ceremony was held in Washington, D.C., on February 23, 2018.
