With more than 30 years of legal expertise, Mr. Mark has been a partner with Mark and Burkhead since 1992. Raised in a hardworking blue-collar family, he learned very young that hard work and discipline are the keys to success. He took these lessons, and has dedicated his career to helping fight injustice in the workplace, especially when it comes to workers compensation. He is a member of the Kansas Bar Association and has been admitted to practice in Missouri, Illinois and Iowa. Outside of the law firm, he is the host of MacMillan River Adventures on the Outdoor Channel.
Mr. Mark began his career with a BS from Kansas State University in 1982 before going on to earn a JD from Washburn University School of Law in 1986. While in school, he was the recipient of numerous academic and sports awards. He has received several awards for his contributions, including having been named a Super Lawyer in 2017. Outside of his professional work, he has been honored with the national Teddy Roosevelt Conservation Award. He is the proud father of three children, all of whom also pursued law and now work for him at the firm.
